About
I am a mother of two children in the public school system here in Nebraska. The summer before my kids went into Kindergarten, I pleaded with God, asking Him to make a way for me to be able to homeschool my children. My husband was not on board with this decision and we really couldn't afford to be a one-income household. I still persisted in my prayer. One day, God gave me a hard pill to swallow. He told me no. At the time I was absolutely crushed.
But when I really listened to His voice, He told me this, "Tiffany I need your children to be in the school system. I have YOUR children in the palm of My hands. You let me "worry" about them. They are in good hands - I will take good care of them. You are passionate about what you are invested in. If your children are at home with you, you won't be involved in the community around you. I need you to be engaged in the school system. I need to you pray and intercede not just for your children but ALL of My children."
I have been researching the content in the school libraries in Nebraska since January 2022. My findings have been disturbing to say the least. How is it that a random adult outside of of the school system would be arrested and charged for crimes of distributing such egregious material; however, in the name of "curriculum" and "school study" that it is okay? How is it okay that a concerned parent cannot read aloud at public school board meetings from books that are easily accessible to their children in the SCHOOL LIBRARIES?
I desire to share my findings with others and teach them how simple it is to do the research for themselves! We need more parents, grandparents, tax-payers, and concerned citizens to see that we have the ability to find out exactly what is going on in the schools. It is not only our right but our duty to stand in proxy for our children. We have to speak up and be a voice for the voiceless. We have to teach our children how to speak and stand up as well. We need to equip them to walk those halls and make a difference.
The more I research, the more I am emboldened to do something. I cannot un-see what has been revealed to me.
In this fight,
Tiffany
